( number of products: 941 )One of the most important elements of priests’ attire is the one that explains to the congregation, which season of the Liturgical Year is currently celebrated. Clergy vestments - or, more precisely, chasubles - represent not only the cleric’s position, but also symbolize the tradition of the Church and Church’s origins.

Clergy clothing of that sort must have a certain color, corresponding with the liturgical season and with the conducted ceremony. For example, rules of Catholic Church state that during a funeral, priests are supposed to wear a chasuble of black, white or purple.
